Paper Mario: Back In Bowser

Team up with Starlow in this proof-of-concept Paper Mario 64 ROM Hack! Battle familiar foes, use new abilities, and try your best to escape Bowser's body! This hack will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and serves more as a demonstration for our custom content as opposed to a complete experience, though we tried our best to make it engaging!

It is highly recommended that you use savestates at various points throughout the game. While we don't anticipate much crashing, the save logic of the game was not implemented, such that if you game over, you'll need to start from the beginning. This may be fixed in the future, but for now, it is what it is.

This hack was made as a part of the Paper Mario Modding Discord's first modding Jam.  If you're hungry for spaghettti,  the source code can be found here.
